Commission Term Definitions

On Full Fee

Commission is calculated on the total course fee before any scholarships or discounts are applied. This term is less common.

Example

Course Fee: £15,000, Scholarship: £2,000. The commissionable amount is £15,000.

On Nett Fee

Commission is calculated on the course fee after deducting any scholarships or discounts. This is a very common term.

Example

Course Fee: £15,000, Scholarship: £2,000. The commissionable amount is £13,000.

On Fees Paid

Commission is calculated only on the amount of tuition fees the student has actually paid to date. This often involves rollover payments.

Example

Course Fee: £15,000, Fees Paid: £10,000. The commissionable amount is £10,000. Commission on the remaining £5,000 is paid later.

Semester Wise

Commission is paid in installments based on the student's progression through semesters. This calculation can be complex and is often a variation of "On Fees Paid".

Example

A university pays 50% of the total commission after the student completes Semester 1, and the remaining 50% after Semester 2 starts.
